I promised this post in my June Favorites and I really wanted to tell y'all more about this amazing drugstore foundation that I'm literally just dying over! 😍
This is one of the new drugstore products everyone's going crazy for! The new L'Oreal Infallible ProGlow Foundation! It is a foundation for normal to dry skin. I have combo weird skin as y'all know if you've been watching me for a while! My skin is oily but sensitive and acne prone, very odd I know! 😜 But I haven't noticed any problems with the foundation since I started using it a few weeks ago.
The coverage is UNBELIEVEABLE! It is a light to medium coverage I would say and very build able! I like to build up the coverage around the area where I can see my acne scarring or any pimples that are trying to pop through! When you apply it it looks dewy but not to the point where you look extremely oily and gross! It's the right amount of dewy that goes you a nice summer glow to your face. But it is a very runny foundation too, I would compare the consistency to a BB cream. If you dot it all over your face like I do, you'll notice it running down your finger for sure! So I would be careful when applying. I usually use my ELF blending brush to apply it, I think I did try with the beauty blender but I wasn't crazy about how it looked with it. Considering the first time I applied it I was thinking, "Oh no, no no I'm not wearing this!" But I gave it a chance and now it's up there as one of my favorite drugstore foundations ever! 😍😍
I usually set this foundation with the Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder (click here), but as of recently I've been using the Maybelline Better Skin Transforming Powder! (click here) It works well with both powder and can be set. But be aware that you'll still have that dewy look to your face even after you set it! I also want to advise that even though this is a great summer foundation, it does emphasize your pores and acne bumps if you have them like I do! Be sure to use a good primer to start off your makeup with a primer that blurs and hides pores! I also noticed this happening when I did the highlighter challenge too!
Finally what I really love about this foundation is the fact that it feels so light on the face and doesn't have that heavy cakey feeling as other foundations do! Half the time I don't even notice it on my face and I have to stop myself from touching my face, etc. (Which has become a bad habit lately for me- I'm breaking out like crazy! 😩)
All in all this is an amazing foundation for the the summer! I don't notice it leaving my face really at all and it has held up well against the heat and me breaking a sweat! 😊😅
