HD Color Trio in the color, '781 Long Beach Sands'
Hey beautifuls!
As promised in my Influenster Jolly Voxbox Unboxing, I did say I would be doing some reviews on some of the products! This review is going to be on the NYC HD Color Trio! First of all I do want to say that I'm not getting paid to write this review and that all the products that were sent in the Jolly Voxbox from Influenster were complimentary for testing purposes only!***
The first thing I love about these eyeshadows is the packaging! As I said in the unboxing video, (CLICK HERE TO WATCH!) It's very similar to Wet 'N' Wild's Trio colors, but a little bulkier which I don't mind. I used this palette this past weekend when I went to David's work's Christmas party and I have no complaints what so ever!
The shadows are very silky feeling and glide on so well on my eyelids. I did prime my eyes using the NYC Primer that came in my Individual eyes palette for a change! The colors were easy to blend out and I didn't see any fallout what so ever! I also used the same routine as in my latest tutorial, (CLICK HERE FOR TUTORIAL!) to apply them! HOWEVER my only con to these shadows is that as much as I love my neutral eyes, these shadows are just a little too neutral for me with the highlighter and all over lid colors. The crease color is darker on me than those two colors are. But other than that, I have no complaints about the palette and the formula of the shadows! Not only did I love the formula of the shadows, but the cost is very cheap as well, retailed at ONLY $2.99!
I recommend this product to y'all because it's cheap, packaged conveniently, and the shadows are really good quality! If you're looking for shadows that you can rock everyday or you want to try out eyeshadows for the first time, this brand of shadows is one of the brands I would suggest! For me I rock neutral eyes almost daily, but I wouldn't wear these shadow colors out to a club because you wouldn't be able to see them since they are just that neutral!
I hope this review and first impression type post helped y'all in some way and let me know if you have any questions on this palette!
I love you all!
xoxo,
Sam<3
