Good evening guys!
I recently realized lately that maybe my hair's not as healthy as it should be... And I was watching PiinkSparkles' Barbie beauty tips video. I forgot which one but she was saying how that having greasy hair is actually healthy!
Now I've known this for a while and used to just wash my hair every other day. But now I've recently starter to wash my hair every two days roughly.
I wash my hair lets say on a Sunday and then don't wash my hair again until that Monday night or Tuesday morning. I believe that it's healthy for your hair to be greasy instead of striping it and having your hair become bone dry.
For me it's mainly because my hair was just color treated about 2 1/2 months ago. When it first gets dyed it's as dry as hay. So for me to get it back to the state it used to be in is really hard. The previous time I had washed my hair was over a year ago. So in that time my hair was I should say, "it's calmest" that it ever has been since before I dyed it the first time summer before 7th grade.
Not going to lie to you guys as a girl greasy hair looks gross. It smells it feels gross, you get the picture. But in reality that's your hairs way of saying, "I'm replenishing myself...in a very gross way.." LOL.
I'm not an expert on this believe me! But this is just my personal experience. If you wash your hair everyday it's probably not the healthiest even when you think it is. Think about it!
